Processing of choosing my PC set up
When I first wanted to figure out my PC setup, I wanted something that fit my aesthetic, and something that was colourful. My choice had to be all white with RGB. It took me a bit, but I was able to save up for all the parts.
I had little knowledge of any PC building and what parts to get, so I am thankful for my friend, Miguel for helping me to choose the parts and building it.

Case: Corsair iCUE 4000X RGB ATX Mid Tower Case
A case that protects all the parts inside.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor
The core of your PC. It is also called a processor and is the most critical part since it handles basic information.

Corsair H100i RGB PLATINUM SE 63 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
There are two types of CPU coolers which are liquid cooling and air cooling. It helps the CPU.

Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max ATX AM4 Motherboard
The motherboard connects the RAM, the video card, the CPU, network cards, the sound wires and the primary storage together. It basically helps all the parts in your system communicate.

Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory
It stores information when you are actively using your computer, and sort of acts like a backup when your other system memory is overwhelmed.

Storage #1: Team GX2 1TB 2.5″ Solid State Drive
Solid state drives use flash memory as opposed to hard drives, which use spinning disks, sort of like a CD. They are much faster than HDDs and it’s best to put your games and Windows install on this if you want to avoid long loading times.

Storage #2: Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5″ 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Hard drives are rather slow nowadays in comparison to SSDs, but they’re much cheaper, and usually can store more. Good for downloading large files or things that don’t necessarily need to be on the SSD.

Video Card: MSI GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB GAMING X Video Card
It renders images, video and 3d graphics in place of your CPU. Also called a graphics card, it’s a must for playing video games. While some CPUs have integrated graphics, if you intend on doing anything graphics heavy, like gaming or streaming, you’ll need a fairly competent GPU. In my case, I need a high video card for streaming on Twitch, or even just to play the latest games.

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA GA 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX
The PSU provides power to your whole PC and comes in certain wattage ranges. If the capacity is too low, the system wouldn’t even power on.

Monitors x2: MSI Optix G241 23.8″ 1920 x 1080 144 Hz Monitor
Once your PC is set up, it will display pictures, text and video in real time. Without it you could not interact with your computer.

The total for the whole PC I put together is around CAD $2000.Again, I am thankful to my friend, Miguel, for this PC build.
